As of 2004 the Chief Executive Officer of SHL Telemedizin in Germany. Eyal introduced the telemedicine concept to the German market, including remote monitoring of patients suffering from chronic disease like heart insufficiency, diabetes and lung disease. The introduction of new concepts requires close work with the different players in the German healthcare market as well as the German insurance companies. While establishing the company and penetrating the German market Eyal lived most of the years in Germany and therefore understands the German culture and speaks fluent German. Prior to SHL in Germany Eyal worked in the telecommunication arena with Comverse, bringing significant success in penetrating green field large customers in Europe and east Europe, Africa and far east Asia . Eyal served for eight years in the Israeli Air Force, reaching the rank of Major. He holds a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University
Founder of two medical device companies. Dr. Bitton has 10 years experience in R&D development of medical device company, developing devices for diabetics. Dr. Bitton has extensive knowledge in physical and physiological aspects related to diabetics. He holds Ph.D. in applied physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. Dr. Bitton has published several papers and has to his credit over 25 patents and patent applications, most of them are related to medical devices. Previously Dr. Bitton served as Glucon Chief Technology officer. Prior to that Dr. Bitton served as group leader of the quantum optics group at Oak Ridge national laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Among others, he served as a Clinical Research Physician at Eli Lilly Germany, Vice President for Europe Medical and Marketing of MiniMed, Inc, Senior Vice President of Medical and Regulatory Affairs of Pharmaceutical Discovery Corporation (now Mankind Corporation), Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Europe at Biodel Inc.
